With over 10 years of experience in the areas of narrative, commercial, scripted, unscripted, and documentary-style video & film directing, I possess a strong proficiency in crafting live-action media.
I first began making movies around the age of 10 when I got a hold of my parent's Sony Handycam Hi8 camcorder. In those early years I would make home videos of family trips and document life around my neighborhood. As a mid teen my love of cinema inspired me to begin making narrative movies with my friends and family for fun and school projects. By high school I was committed to a career within the entertainment industry with a focus of being the storyteller behind the camera. Upon graduating high school I moved from my home near Charlotte, N.C. to L.A. and began enrollment at The Los Angeles Film School.
While attending LAFS I majored in Directing and minored in Cinematography, with electives in Screenwriting and Production Design, and graduated with an Honors Degree in Film. Since that time my path has taken me on a wide range of experiences out of the directing chair where I've crewed on television shows, TV movies, and feature films such as “Homeland” (season 3), “Max”, “Paper Towns”, “The Disappointments Room”, and “Teachers” ("Saving Westbrook High"). All the while I've continued honing my skills as a director from executing my own short films to doing corporate videos and commercials.
Most recently I've directed commercials and various kinds of product videos with companies such as Lowe's and Greenworks Tools to highlight their wide inventory of OPE merchandise.
